Antibiograms-2019-overview 

Multi-resistant organism overview, 2020, Hunter New England 

CPE: 33 healthcare-associated (HCA) cases (32% increase from 2019), 6 ICU-associated, 2 bloodstream infections.  

MRSA: 278 HCA cases (5% reduction from 2019), 17 ICU-associated, 6 bloodstream infections.

VRE:  318 HCA cases (14% reduction from 2019), 79 ICU-associated, 10 bloodstream infections.

CPE- carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales (E. coli and other species), ESBL- extended spectrum betalactamase Enterobacterales, MRSA- methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, VRE- vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus.
